About
Amy Trahearn has been teaching English since 2011. After completing her University studies, achieving a bachelor’s degree in French language and literature with a major in Chemistry, Amy moved to France to continue her French studies while also receiving mentoring and learning to teach English to students of all ages, from three through retirement ages. She then moved back to her home state where she completed the South Dakota certifications for teaching English as a second language. She taught English and GED courses for the State of South Dakota. Upon moving to Switzerland, she gave French and English lessons at a local middle school, taught extensively with a local private language school, and taught English at BBZ. After taking time off with her two young children, Amy returned to teaching by opening her own school.
